In-home Newborn Session | Columbus, OH

Terra has been spreading my name all around Columbus for the last seven years. In a good way. We met just weeks before her summer wedding in 2012, and even though I missed the cut off for bridesmaid, she’s been consistently recommending me to all of her friends, near and far. Meanwhile, I’ve been patiently waiting for HER next milestone, so that I could make the cut as her family photographer. Folks. The time has come…. The Cvengros’s hadda baby!!

The perfect combo of dad and mom, baby Madison is so beautiful. Like, so so beautiful.

Mike and Terra live in Columbus, so I picked up Terra’s best friend in Warren at 7 in the morning and we made the trip out to C-bus for the day. We arrived around 10:30 with lunch and a car full of equipment. I quickly got to work, because baby Madison was SLEEPY.

[She put herself in this pose and I could not get her to do anything else. Later, I found out it’s how her daddy sleeps, too!]

We kicked off our photoshoot with Terra’s only request. [see below]

Then we moved into one more prop pose before family photos. Maddie’s 12 year old bother, Max, was super excited to join in one the family pictures and even snuck a snuggle in with Maddie later in her shoot.

Madison was so quiet the entire time I was there! She only stirred once, and we fed her before she had a chance to ask for it, then she was right back to sleep after a bout of the hiccups. She let me do tons of different set ups and poses without complaint. We even stayed and visited for a few hours after I finished and baby girl was OUT the entire time.
